I imagine the rider entering their space, putting up their bike and having a place to stash a helmet, empty their pockets, and hang a jacket. The magnetic surface allows for an array of customization by adding hooks and shelves. With urban interiors in mind, the rack is intentionally designed without a distinct front or back. This way, the piece does not have to stand next to a wall and can be used as a room divider such as delineating an entryway. The powder-coated steel surface can take the frequent abuse of hanging a bicycle, while still being easy to wipe clean and can even be scribbled on with dry-erase markers. Walnut shelves provide a warm contrast to the hard steel.
